The latest news about these two new vivo devices is attracting attention. The devices in question are the vivo X300 Ultra and X300s, where vivo will introduce a new system called Blueprint Native Color.
This technology has been developed from the ground up to produce more natural colors in photography. According to vivo in an update on Weibo, this system is designed to provide images with more balanced lighting and shadows.
Based on the initial sharing, the vivo X300 Ultra is expected to be launched in China later this month after it was shown at MWC earlier today. Both models will come with the new color system which is also supported by the Smooth EV Dynamic Compression algorithm.
This algorithm works to automatically combine multi-frame HDR data as soon as the user presses the shutter button. In daily use, for example when taking pictures of sunsets or low-light environments, the image will look more balanced without shadows being too dark or highlights being too bright.
For portraits, skin textures will look more natural without excessive HDR effects. In addition, the Blueprint Color Model is designed to mimic the way the human eye sees color changes, thus producing images with the same quality as professional cameras but realistic.
This technology is expected to make the new X300 series more relevant for everyday use such as taking pictures of faces, food, or night scenes because the results are closer to what the human eye sees. This does not mean that existing models are irrelevant, but with the support of this new technology, the photography experience is expected to improve for users.
This approach is reminiscent of the True-to-Color concept used by Huawei where the image results try to maintain the true colors as seen by the eye. However, at this time it is not certain whether vivo's technology is able to provide comparable or better results.
