Redmi Note 15 5G is now available with a Special Edition (SE) that has just been launched in India. This model comes with a new Crimson Reserve color that uses a leather finish for a more premium feel. The all-red back is also matched with a gold-colored center frame to add a touch of luxury. There are also two other color options, Frosted White and Carbon Black, for a more minimal style.
This device also receives some minor changes compared to the regular 5G model. Among them, the rear camera now uses a 50MP main sensor that replaces the previous 108MP sensor. At the same time, the 8MP ultra-wide camera has also been replaced with a 2MP depth sensor. In addition, it comes with a larger 5800mAh battery based on silicon-carbon technology while maintaining 45W fast charging support. This capacity is an increase over the 5520mAh battery used in the previous standard Redmi Note 15 5G model.
Other specifications of this device are still the same as the previous model. It comes with a 6.77″ FHD+ OLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3200 nits. It is also powered by a chip with up to 8GB of RAM. The front camera uses a 20MP sensor. This device is also equipped with an IP65 + IP66 rating for dust and splash protection.
