Do you have issues with motion sickness? If so, Samsung has launched a new app called Hearapy that is designed to help users who suffer from motion sickness.
Motion sickness is reduced by playing a 100 Hz sine wave tone that stimulates the balance system in the inner ear. Just listening to this tone for 60 seconds can provide relief for up to two hours.
The idea for the app is based on a study by Nagoya University, Japan, which found that a 100 Hz tone at 75–85 dB can temporarily improve balance. Samsung is promoting the app alongside the Galaxy Buds4 Pro, which is said to be capable of producing 100 Hz sound clearly.
The Hearapy app can be downloaded on all Android devices and it can actually be used with earphones other than the Buds4 Pro.
