Grab Ends Fixed RM65 Fare To and From KLIA Around Klang Valley

If you live around the Klang Valley area and frequently travel to Kuala Lumpur International Airport, previously Grab’s ride-hailing service showed a fixed price of RM65.00 to take customers to the airport no matter where they were in the Klang Valley.

Recently, Grab seems to have updated the policy, and Grab driver-friends seem to have received a new announcement stating that the fixed price of RM65 has been abolished, and is now replaced with a dynamic pricing structure that is used for other trips.

According to the statement, this update is being implemented starting today, May 11, 2026 at 12 noon and will affect the price of trips to KLIA Terminal 1 and KLIA 2.

The price of the trip also seems to increase if driver-friends have to pay tolls or they are stuck in traffic jams. Upon reading this shared statement, we have seen that the price to KLIA airport from our office has increased to at least RM83 now.

This is seen to help Grab drivers earn more due to the current price increase and supply shortage of RON95 petrol.

We have asked Grab about the accuracy of this statement, and will update this article if we receive a new statement from them.
