The Huawei Watch Fit 5 series has finally been launched in Malaysia. It comes in two model options, each of which emphasizes health and fitness aspects while offering significant improvements in its class.
The Watch Fit 5 comes in two versions, Pro and Standard, with both sharing most of the health and fitness functions. The Pro version offers additional advantages such as early detection of diabetes (via OTA updates), a 1.92″ AMOLED screen with 2.5D Sapphire glass, a titanium and aluminum frame (the white model has the advantage of a metal nanoceramic coating) and a battery that can last up to 10 days.
In addition, it supports over 100 exercise modes including Free Diving, Cycling Assistant and Golf Mode, as well as health functions such as ECG, sleep monitoring, sleep apnea, emotional health 2.0, arterial stiffness and HRV. The watch also offers a mini exercise mode with a panda icon, exclusive applications for racket sports, TNG QR payment support, IP6X rating, 64GB storage and compatibility with iPhone and Android.
Meanwhile, the Huawei Watch Fit 5 Standard uses a 1.82-inch AMOLED screen with a brightness of up to 2500 nits and a choice of cheerful body colors. It is equipped with most of the sensors like the Pro version, but does not support ECG, Depth Sensor, early detection of diabetes, arterial stiffness, as well as Free Diving mode, Cycling Assistant and Golf Mode.
For those interested, the Huawei Watch Fit 5 can be purchased in Malaysia at a starting price of RM799 while the Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro is priced at RM1,099. There are also attractive promotions after vouchers with prices as low as RM649 for the Watch Fit 5 and RM999 for the Watch Fit 5 Pro.
