Uber is now increasing their stake in Delivery Hero, where they now have a 19.5% stake in Delivery Hero. Previously, Uber had a 7% stake in the company.
Delivery Hero is a company based in Germany, where they have several brands focused on food delivery around the world, including in Malaysia through the FoodPanda brand.
Uber is seen to be quite active in investing in companies outside of America, in continuing to strengthen their position in the ride-hailing and delivery arena. For now, it is still a question mark whether Uber will fully take over Delivery Hero or not in the near future.
