Anker, a leading electronic device charging accessory brand, has recently rolled out an update for its Anker Zolo power bank series, which features an update to support the GB 47372-2026 standard that will come into effect from April 1, 2027.
This standard will require power banks manufactured in China to feature high-precision telemetry, the best safety protection, and error history tracking. The leaked Anker Zolo power bank features the same design as before, with two built-in USB Type-A to USB Type-C cables and an additional USB Type-C plug that allows users to charge 3-4 devices at once with this power bank.
The three USB Type-C plugs shown come with support for 55W fast charging, while the two built-in USB Type-A plugs come with support for 33W fast charging. Just like the previous model, this power bank also comes with a capacity of 74WHr or 20,000 mAH.
At the moment, it is still unknown when Anker will introduce this new power bank. The expectation is that it will be introduced closer to April 1, 2027 when the new power bank usage law is introduced in China. This is seen as important because for flights within the country, the use of power banks must follow the CCC (China Compulsory Certification) standards introduced for passenger safety.
