Leading gaming hardware and accessories brand Razer has recently introduced its latest gaming offering: the Razer Mako X. This compact speaker system features two satellite units designed to deliver an exceptional audio experience.
Externally, the Razer Mako X features a compact dual-satellite design equipped with 2.75-inch audio drivers. It operates at 30W RMS power but can peak at 45W, allowing for loud audio output without compromising durability.
Although the Razer Mako X resembles a standard 2.0 speaker setup, Razer states that it utilizes the same software technology found in their headsets to provide users with a virtual 7.1 audio experience.
This means you can fully utilize features in PC games that rely on audio-based proximity detection or enjoy movies that support surround sound.
The speaker drivers are positioned at a 40-degree angle relative to the flat surface, effectively bouncing sound into your room or gaming area to create that surround sound effect.
In terms of connectivity, the Razer Mako X offers USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio cable, and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless options for user convenience. It also supports Razer Chroma RGB lighting, which can be customized via Razer Synapse software. Meanwhile, Razer also introduced the Razer Mako speaker system; the key difference is that the Razer Mako comes with a subwoofer featuring a 3.5-inch driver to deliver deeper audio quality.
Razer Malaysia stated that the Razer Mako X will be available in the local market for RM449 starting in October 2026, while the Razer Mako will be released in December 2026 at a price to be announced later.
