Grab Malaysia has introduced a ride-hailing service designed for families traveling with young children aged 4 to 12. This feature allows passengers to select a 6-seater vehicle equipped with a child-friendly seat.
This initiative enhances passenger safety and eliminates the need for passengers to bring their own child seats.
Currently available in beta, the service can be booked for rides originating from KLIA 1 or KLIA 2. While access is currently limited to the "Advanced Booking" option, plans are in place to progressively expand the service to the Klang Valley, Penang, and Johor Bahru. A surcharge of RM10 applies for the inclusion of the child seat.
