So, to make it even more enjoyable, we share tips for you so that online family reunion activities can be well organized and can be a tool to let go of longing.
1. Hold a quiz
It is common to create online rooms for family gatherings. To make it different and the atmosphere more fun, invite the family to play a quiz together, for example Kahoot !. You can display the quiz via the screen sharing feature and let other family members join the contest. Whoever wins, is entitled to a prize.
What's the prize? This can be a package containing a secret prize sent to the winner’s address or the balance of an OVO / GoPay digital wallet.
2. Photos together but ...
You can still take pictures by wearing a uniform in an online meeting room. In addition, to make it more fun, you and your other siblings can plan a background to use during a photo session together.
3. Online talk sessions
There are always parents who are respected and often give the best advice during Eid. Give time and place to give touching words and messages that are often found in person. Count as an alternative to the habit of sungkem which is hindered because they cannot go home.
4. Live together
There are various platforms that can be used, including Instagram Live (IG Live), Facebook Live, or YouTube Live. You can show the state of Eid at home while doing questions and answers attended by virtual relatives.
5. Make a stylish family video
An example is the challenge in the form of a series of videos collected from all the siblings. The collected videos are then edited into one video. You can share the results on YouTube or a special family group once the edit is out. Not bad, family memories on this year's festival.
