Facebook Launches Clubhouse Competitor, Audio Rooms

After Spotify released Greenroom, now Facebook has also officially launched its own version of the Clubhouse application called Live Audio Rooms. However, for now, this service is only available in the United States.
With Live Audio Rooms, certain characters and groups of people can create chat rooms through the Facebook app on the iOS operating system, but Facebook says the service will soon be available to everyone.

Facebook has also revealed that it plans to bring Live Audio Rooms to its Messenger service this summer so users can chat with their friends on Messenger.

Live Audio Rooms isn't the only audio product announced by Facebook. They have also launched a number of tools and services such as Soundbites which are described as a new social audio format.

Facebook is also bringing Podcasts to its social media platform for longer stories and chats. Users can listen to their favorite podcasts and discover new ones inside the Facebook app while using it and even while running in the background.

Regarding monetization, users can support their favorite content creators by voting or donating "Stars" to cause them to care. Another option is to allow the host to charge via a single purchase or subscription.
