Is This the Cause of Antivirus Billionaire John McAfee's Suicide?

John McAfee ended his life by suicide in a Spanish prison. The exact cause is unknown, but the tech mogul who founded the antivirus company known by his name, McAfee, seemed to be worried about something before the tragic event.
McAfee was arrested by Spanish authorities late last year on charges of tax evasion in the United States. About a week ago, McAfee spoke in a Spanish court to defend himself against an attempt to be extradited to the United States.

If extradited to his home country and found guilty, John McAfee could face up to 30 years in prison. McAfee later said the charges were politically motivated and he feared he would spend the rest of his life in a US prison.

"If I am extradited, I will definitely spend the rest of my life in prison because the United States wants to use me as an example," he said.

John McAfee was arrested at Barcelona airport in October. He was accused of not reporting his income from the cryptocurrency business as well as talking and selling his life story in a documentary.

A Spanish court ruled he could be extradited because it did not find enough evidence that the charges against John McAfee were politically motivated. Health or age reasons are also ignored by the court. Perhaps, McAfee was very disappointed with the decision.

As reported, John McAfee was found dead in a Barcelona jail cell hours after a Spanish court agreed to extradite him to the US to face tax evasion charges. This antivirus captain died allegedly by suicide.

The Catalan regional police, Mossos d'Esquadra, confirmed this. The 75-year-old breathed his last in Brians 2 prison near Barcelona, Wednesday night local time.

In a statement, the Catalan justice department said that prison officers and medical officers had tried to save John McAfee's life, unfortunately but to no avail.
