Jeff Bezos felt euphoria after his trip. He said Amazon workers 'paid for' his short trip to space. Apparently, this inspired Donald Trump Jr. to write a short reply to him on Twitter, in the form of satire.
"They really did. I'm sure they'd rather get a pay rise," the former U.S. president's son wrote. Yet, for many Twitter users, instead of support, he actually gets more attacks from netizens.
"Ha! At least they got paid," replied one user.
"How much is the starting salary for a housekeeper at one of your hotels?" write another.
"Will Daddy pay the contractor who worked with him in Atlantic City?" others ask.
They must have succeeded. I'm sure they'd rather get a raise. https://t.co/6TZ1Boj9Ch

Donald Trump has long been accused of failing to pay his contractors, from construction workers to piano suppliers. This is what made his father’s name dragged into netizen conversations.
Behind the tweet, some have wondered whether the former president’s son really cared about the plight of Amazon employees or was driven by his dislike of Bezos, who had quarreled with his father in the past.
"Wow, that's because you don't like the guy you want him to raise his employees' salaries. What about the pay raises for all your employees?" mocking someone.
"Like you care!" others write satire.
Amazon has long been accused of paying low wages to its employees. According to a union estimate, the average Amazon warehouse worker needs eight weeks to get what Bezos gets in a second.
The problem is, the former president’s son’s comments also seem to contradict the politics of the Trump administration, which opposes raising the minimum wage to $ 15. Wow, that’s your weapon.
