- Open the WhatsApp app and click the three dots in the top right, select Settings
- On the Settings page select Storage and Data
- Then select Manage Storage. There are many options to be displayed. There are categories: Forwarded Multiple, Larger than 5MB, and Chat
- Look in the Chat section, this is where the various chats from each of your WhatsApp contacts are collected. - Select the contacts or groups that send the most data to your mobile phone. WhatsApp will display all photo, video, audio and document files sent by them from the largest to the smallest file size
- Delete what you don't need
After this cleanup, you will see that there are some WhatsApp contacts or groups that you rarely chat with or them. However, they are the ones who diligently send photos, videos, audio that eventually become garbage and fill the memory of our mobile phones.
