Leaked New iPad Mini Launch Schedule

The new generation iPad Mini is reported to be launched in the fall of 2021, around October and December, with a design similar to the latest iPad Air.
The news was reported by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, who believes the new iPad Mini will launch in the fall. According to him, the iPad Mini will have a similar design to the iPad Air previously released by Apple.

Gurman cited the iPad Mini design as the biggest design change in the history of the iPad Mini since its launch nine years ago.

Apple last released the iPad Mini in 2019, which uses the A12 Bionic chip and supports Apple Pencil. But its design is almost no different from the first iPad Mini released in 2012.

In May 2020, trusted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said Apple will release a new iPad Mini with a screen size between 8.5 and 9 inches by mid-2021. But it seems Apple hasn’t released it, and that may only happen by the end of 2021.

In addition to the iPad Mini issue, Gurman also said that Apple is continuing to expand the iMac with a larger screen to replace the iMac 27 which still uses Intel processors.

According to him, the iMac will have a larger screen and be powered by an M1X chip or maybe even an M2X. But Gurman has more information on this iMac.

Previously, Bloomberg also reported that Apple temporarily halted development of the 27-inch iMac because it focused on working on a 24-inch iMac with the M1 chip they previously released.

But many older 27 -inch iMac users are waiting for an iMac with a more powerful M1 chip, also with a larger screen, to replace their Intel iMac.
