The Richest Man in the World Ready to Follow Richard Branson into Space

Once Richard Branson managed to reach outer space, it was now Jeff Bezos ’turn to follow him. The battle of the millionaire space travel has begun.
Bezos was initially with the space company, Blue Origin, so the first to announce would be going into space. But in early July, Branson’s surprise with Virgin Galactic cornered him.

Branson took off and successfully returned to Earth on Sunday (11/7) local time. In the next few days, Bezos will rocket.

The bald -headed man is scheduled to fly suborbital using a New Shepard plane on Tuesday (20/7). The feeling of wanting to go on a space tour seems to have calmed Bezos ’mind after seeing his competitors succeed.

The option on July 20 has long been chosen by Blue Origin, as it takes momentum on the 52nd anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission on the Moon.

Meanwhile, the New Shepard flight this time was the first to conduct a manned mission. There will be a mysterious figure who will fly with the richest person in the world after that person buys a ticket through an auction for USD 28 million.

“The entire Blue Origin team is looking forward to meeting our first customer,” said Blue Origin Original Director and Orbital Sales Ariane Cornell.

"They will be joining Jeff Bezos and his brother Mark on a historic flight with New Shepard in five weeks. July 20 will be an experience of a lifetime."

The New Shepard rocket will carry these four passengers to the boundary line between Earth and space, or commonly called the Karman line, at an altitude of about 100 km. Bezos and three other passengers will spend about 11 minutes in space to feel the sensation of hovering in space, before returning to Earth.
