This scientist is convinced that the Corona Virus theory from the Wuhan Laboratory is not true

Although the theory that the Corona virus was leaked or created from a Wuhan laboratory is still discussed, most scientists are convinced that the hypothesis is baseless or absurd. That is, it is almost certain that this virus comes from nature, precisely from bats.
A total of 21 scientists want to straighten out the origin of the Corona virus by publishing a summary of the scientific evidence on the beginning of this epidemic. "It's not true that we don't know where it came from, we don't know how it got to humans," said one of the researchers, Professor David Robertson from the University of Glasgow.

In principle, many scientists agree that the 'ancestor' of the virus came from bats, not from the laboratory. But it is important to know how it happened, where and when the virus attacked humans, to prevent similar incidents in the future.

There is no definitive proof yet in the form of bats with the exact same virus or the first patient suffering from the SARS-CoV-2 Corona virus. It might be unknown, but according to this scientist, that doesn't mean it came from a lab.

Robertson said the Corona pandemic is similar to the emergence of the SARS virus in 2003. In 2017, the ancestor of the SARS virus was found in bats. Then the first appearance is related to the trade of wild animals as an intermediary.

"The only difference is that we have not found an intermediary animal at this time. However, there is a connection with the bat virus and a strong connection with the market that sells animals at this time," he said.

However, while appreciating the efforts of these scientists, other scientists believe that investigations still need to be done in China. "We need the cooperation of the Chinese authorities. And they should be more open about what they know about the initial outbreak in Wuhan in late 2019," said Professor Stuart Neuil from King's College London.
