A tragic incident befell the 26 -year -old Bitcoin millionaire from Thailand. He died after suffering electrical problems while mining cryptocurrency.
Danai Makmek, the young man, can earn thousands of dollars a week from the crypto mining business. Not long ago, he was upset because his cryptocurrency mining machine suddenly died.
Chronologically, he immediately contacted his brother to help fix it because he didn’t want to waste time mining Bitcoin. However, his brother, Apiwat Makmek, said that he would come a day later with a computer technician.
Apiwat says that his brother is panicked and impatient for fear his machine is broken, so he tries to fix it himself. Tragically, he died because the machine suddenly exploded and blew him up. Visible at the scene of untidy cables and devices.
"I warned him but he was impatient. I think he panicked and stayed up all night to fix it," he said.
"The computer has been modified to be more powerful. I think the computer is not safe, my brother made himself to mine Bitcoin which he is very fond of," he added.
He found Danai’s body when the next day he came with a technician. The younger brother is located between the Bitcoin machines. Paramedics were called but it was too late to save his life. Meanwhile, police also arrived to conduct an investigation.
Police said there were no signs of anything suspicious. "We believe he wants to repair the damaged and stung Bitcoin machine himself. We are still investigating, but there have been no forced entry attempts or suspicious injuries," police said.
