Netflix Supports Spatial Audio For iOS Device Users

Netflix has confirmed that they will be providing Spatial Audio support which will be available to users of the app on iPhone and iPad.

This support will provide users with an immersive experience using directional audio filters and Netflix users have been using it for a long time.

A Netflix spokesperson has confirmed that they have started rolling out Spatial Audio support on the iPhone and iPad versions of iOS 14.

This Spatial Audio feature is exclusive to AirPods Pro and AirPods Max, so to experience this feature users must use one of their devices. The buttons for managing Spatial Audio are located in the Control Center.

Apple says that Spatial Audio is an immersive experience using directional audio filters to play sound anywhere, creating an immersive sound experience.

This will place the surround channels in the right place, even when the user turns or moves the device.

Later on iOS 15, Apple's latest update system will also provide Spatial Audio support to the next level that simulates the Spatial Audio experience for non-Dolby Atmos content. This allows AirPods Pro and AirPods Max users to listen to almost any song or video.

If users don't see Spatial Audio in the Netflix app, make sure they have the latest version from the App Store and keep checking over the coming weeks. Because the company said the launch of this feature will be carried out in stages.
