Telegram Updates Video Call Feature, Supports up to 1000 Views

Through its blog, Telegram announced a number of new features and improvements to its ordering platform. And this update is more focused on its video service.
After launching group video call support last month, Telegram added new support where users can now make calls with 1,000 viewers.

Such support is called group video call 2.0 which allows video calls for up to 30 users to stream video from their camera or screen. This video call can be viewed by up to 1000 people who are members of the group.

Video messages also now come in higher resolution. Users can tap it to see a larger clip. Users can also record their own voice messages, and the audio in the background won’t stop.

"You can now sing your favorite songs or reply without pausing the podcast. You can now zoom in while recording with your phone's rear camera as well." The telegram said.

In addition, Telegram also enhances video playback speed capabilities where users can watch videos at 0.5X, 1.5X, or 2.0X speeds and on Android devices it will also support 0.2X speeds.

Telegram 1-to-1 video calls now allow users to share a screen with audio and there is a new automatic delete interval for deleting messages after one month. Users can also now edit photos in more detail before sending them to friends or groups.

Telegram also provides more animations on the passcode screen and messages added to the chat will be animated in a new way in the Android app.

A new password reset option has been added to the app settings that will help users recover passwords in 7 days if they do not have a recovery password.

Lastly, there are new animated emojis including dance emojis, fists, broken hearts, and sad face emojis. The iOS app also gets integration with the camera app on iOS so users can switch to zoom or wide camera when taking photos directly in the Telegram app.
