Bill Gates considers flying to space useless

With so much money, in the range of USD 130 billion, it's actually easy for Bill Gates if he wants to go to space. You can even create your own space company. But apparently, he didn't see any benefit.

Yes, when Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk and Richard Branson raced into space, the founder of Microsoft seemed unmoved. Last February, he first voiced that his money was better off buying vaccines.

"I'm not a 'Mars Person'. I know a lot of people who are 'Mars People'. I don't think that rockets are the solution. But maybe I missed something here," he said as reported by Business Insider.

Gates said he was interested in using his wealth and foundation to directly address some of humanity's greatest challenges. Thus, he was also not very interested in buying tickets to space.

"I'm not going to spend a lot of money because my foundation can buy a measles vaccine and save a life for $1,000. Whatever I do, I always think, 'OK, I can spend that $1,000 on a measles vaccine," she admits.

Recently, Bill Gates saw that there are still many problems that exist on Earth so that space should not be prioritized.

"I became obsessed with things like Malaria, HIV, and wanted to get rid of those diseases. I might bore people talking about diseases on various occasions. (Going) to space? There's a lot of work we have to do on this Earth," he said. Bill Gates.

This was conveyed by Bill Gates while talking on the talk show The Late Late Show hosted by James Corden, talking about the climate crisis.
