God of War Ragnarok Presents More Complex Battles than its predecessor

 


Eric Williams, Director of God of War Ragnarok, revealed several details, regarding the differences in combat combat from this latest series, with the original 2018 version.

He explained that the game's combat system had evolved. Later, players are presented with more diverse battles and demands many tactics in the game.


"So in Ragnarok, what we're trying to do is give players more expression to the main character Kratos," said Williams.




Williams explained, the expression in question does not give Kratos many options for facial appearance. However, referring to the alternative equipment, where players have much greater freedom of control compared to the 2018 version.


Additions are also presented through Atreus, son of Kratos. He can assist in combat, with some fairly limited combo moves, when the player controls his father.


This director also provides upgrades to enemies in the game. They evolve and learn to fight the new abilities of the two protagonists.


Another thing that will add to the gamer's experience is more satisfying is the verticality of the level. So that not only Kratos, enemies can also take advantage of the height and make the gameplay even more awesome.


Maybe some players have seen the combat attack in the God of War Ragnarok trailer, which was revealed a few days ago through an event titled PlayStation Showcase 2021.


In a short video with a duration of 3 minutes 17 seconds, PlayStation shows the gameplay of the latest God of War series. It presents many fierce battles from the enemies and Atreus takes part in it.


Meanwhile, gamers have to be patient a little longer. This is because God of War Ragnarok will only launch in 2022 on PS4 and PS5
