Lenovo Launches New Yoga Slim Laptop Supports Windows 11

 


At the Tech World 2021 event, Lenovo launched a new Yoga Slim laptop that supports Windows 11. There are two devices presented, namely the Yoga Slim 7 Carbon and the Yoga Slim 7 Pro.

Yoga Slim 7 Carbon


The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Carbon has an OLED screen. This laptop is equipped with an AMD RyzenT 7 5800U Series chip with AMD Radeon or Nvidia GeForce MX450 graphics, making it suitable for content creation.



Equipped with up to 16GB LPDDR4x RAM memory, the Yoga Slim 7 Carbon also features up to 1TB PCIe M.2 SSD internal storage and a powerful 61 WHrs battery. This laptop also uses a dual-charger that provides easy refilling quickly.


Just charge it for 15 minutes to get up to 3 hours of use. In full battery life, it promises to be used for 14.5 hours assisted by mode-based thermal via Lenovo Q-Control (just press Fn+Q).


Users can select fan settings to maximize system performance, switch between high-performance modes for heavy-duty, or AI-enabled intelligent cooling that automatically adjusts based on needs.




With military-grade endurance testing (MIL-STD 810H) through 9 tests, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Carbon laptop is certified reliable and tough enough to withstand everyday physical shocks and harsh environmental conditions.


The device is only available in one color Cloud Gray and is made of carbon fiber and magnesium alloy making it lightweight and sturdy. It is 14.9 mm thick at its thinnest point and weighs only 1.1 kg.


Dolby Atmos speakers enhance the audio experience, and the holes drilled in 2 of the 4 front speakers also serve as heatsink entry areas for the internal radiator fan.


The Yoga Slim 7 Carbon is equipped with a Samsung Display OLED panel and has thin bezels on all four sides. 14-inch screen with QHD+ resolution, supports Dolby Vision and VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 certification, 16:10 ratio, Delta E<2 color, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 90Hz refresh rate support, brightness up to 600 nits, blue light emission low certified TÃœV Eye Comfort.


Lenovo provides hands-free Windows Hello and more time-saving protection from Smart Assist. For even more personal protection, Lonovo Smart Privacy Services, a new SaaS tool is available on select Lenovo PCs running Windows 10 and Windows 11 at the same time. This feature allows users to own, control, and personalize online privacy in one place, helping to protect you while browsing and shopping online.


Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro features a 16-inch QHD IPS touch screen, 16:10 ratio for multitasking and a maximum screen brightness of up to 500 nits through a 120Hz refresh rate configuration. This laptop already has TÃœV Eye Comfort certification.


Enjoy spectacular color, brightness and contrast and incredible detail with Dolby Vision, VESA Certified Display HDR 400, and supports 100 percent sRGB color coverage. In addition, the Yoga Slim 7 Pro offers a touchpad that is 11 percent larger than the previous generation for increased comfort and gesture response.


Supported up to AMD Ryzen 7 5800H combined with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU to accelerate graphics performance for immersive entertainment. The Yoga Slim 7 Pro also offers extreme efficiency with a combined 80W TDP (Thermal Design Power).


This laptop has up to 16GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM, up to 1TB of PCIe M.2 SSD2 storage, and a powerful 75WHr battery with Rapid Charge Boost8 so users can work continuously anywhere without worrying about running out of power.

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro laptop is equipped with a smart noise-canceling microphone to reduce ambient noise, limit distractions in video calls, integrates an IR camera, and the Alexa virtual assistant.


Users can enjoy Dolby Atmos sound, all packed into a compact chassis that is 17.4mm thick at its thinnest and starts at 2.1kg and is available in Cloud Gray or Storm Grey9.
