Pro Evolution Soccer Successor Ready to Release, What's New?


 eFootball 2022 as the successor to the Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) game has officially announced its release date. Konami Digital Entertainment Limited, as the developer, is ready to launch their game on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Windows 10 and Steam.

Its presence aims to provide an overview to fans regarding this latest soccer simulation game. Players will get the first major update at no cost in the fall.


"eFootball being our overall platform name, 'eFootball 2022' is the official name for our first season of content. Platform updates bringing new functionality, such as cross-platform matches and controller support, will occur frequently over the coming months and no fees will be charged for that," said Seitaro Kimura, Producer of the eFootball series, Konami Digital Entertainment.

Meanwhile, players can only play against AI or friends offline, where there are nine clubs that can be used. Some of the teams include Barcelona, ​​Bayern Munich, Juventus, Manchester United, Arsenal, SC Corinthians Paulista, CR Flamengo, CA River Plate and Sao Paulo.


Then there are six stadiums, such as Camp Nou, Old Trafford, Allianz, Emirates, Allianz Arena, eFootball Stadium. There are also cross-platform online matches from PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, with prizes in the form of GP or in-game coins.


Additionally, the content update adds a Creative Team mode. Players can build their own dream team, with players selected as they wish.

eFootball Creative League: is a league where players can use their Creative Team, to compete with other players to be the best in the world. You can also earn points and rewards to be promoted to the league level, based on your performance in every 10 rounds of matches.

Tour Events: play against the AI ​​in a tour format, then earn rewards by collecting Event Points.

Challenge Events: play against other players online and complete set objectives to earn rewards.

Quick Match Online: play casual online matches, against other players using over 600 licensed clubs/teams. Includes newly added cross-platform matches (PC and console only)

Online Lobby Matches: create online match rooms and invite other players for 1vs1 . matches

While the criteria for players are divided into four types, namely Standard, Trend, Featured and Legendary. The good news is, fans don't have to wait long, because they can start playing it on September 30, 2021.


For mobile gamers, they don't need to re-download new apps. Because eFootball 2022 is taking mobile phones through an update from its predecessor PES 2021.
