The iPhone 13 Case That Removed the Plastic

Generally, smartphone packaging must be wrapped in plastic on the outside to keep it clean and also safer. However, Apple's recently launched iPhone 13 packaging no longer has plastic wrap.

There has been circulating on Twitter a photo of the Apple packaging without plastic, straight into the cardboard packaging. Then how to ensure that the packaging of the iPhone 13 remains safe during the delivery of goods?

In the photo, it can be seen that at the top there is adhesive from the paper which is quite wide and seems quite difficult to open. Moreover, the adhesive is securely positioned in the inner packaging which goes deeper than the top.

So why is Apple no longer using plastic in the iPhone 13 packaging? Predictably, the reason is to be more environmentally friendly. Apple has announced that the iPhone 13 is environmentally friendly so that it no longer has plastic in order to prevent increasingly dangerous pollution.

"This redesigned packaging removes the plastic wrap on the outside, avoids the use of 600 metric tons of plastic and brings Apple closer to its goal of eliminating plastic from all packaging by 2025," Apple said in a statement.

Apple itself has opened the tap for ordering iPhone 13 in several countries that they prioritize, such as in neighboring Singapore. Both the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro models can be ordered in Singapore starting September 17.

While in Indonesia, there has been no announcement when the iPhone 13 will be officially sold. However, based on previous years, it is very likely that the successor to the iPhone 12 will greet the country ahead of the turn of the coming year.
