A month, 8 million Redmi Note Sold

When releasing the Redmi Note 11, Redmi GM Lu Weibing revealed the number of sales of the mobile phone series, which so far have sold 240 million units.

Previously, Weibing has also showcased the number of sales of the Redmi Note series several times. As in May, sales reached 200 million, previously in November 2020, which was 140 million, and 100 million units in October 2019.

So for five months Xiaomi can sell 40 million units of Redmi Note, or about 8 million units per month.

Then, what will happen to the Redmi Note in the future? Xiaomi will release two generations of Redmi Note every year. One generation will be positioned as a phone that has improved performance, while the other generation will bring minor updates.

Then about the price, the Redmi Note series will be positioned as a device with a price of 2500 yuan.

This number of sales was helped by the growing growth of Xiaomi's retail network. Until the end of October, according to Weibing who is also the President of the International Division of Xiaomi, they have 10 thousand stores around the world.

Previously, Xiaomi had just launched the Redmi Note 11 series in China. This line presents three phone models, namely Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+.

The three phones have a similar design, with flat sides like the iPhone 12. Interestingly, the design of the camera module on the Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ looks the same even though the number of cameras carried is different.
