Apple Releases AirPods 3, Brings Spatial Support

As per rumors, Apple has finally introduced the AirPods 3. Comes with a new look and supports Spatial Audio.

In a launch event held online, Tuesday morning (19/10/2021), Apple presented AirPods 3 with a design like AirPods Pro only without eartips. The new contour design brings sound directly to the user's ear.

The stalk is now smaller than the previous generation. There is an embedded force sensor for controlling these earphones.

The Cupertino-based tech giant has also installed a new low distortion driver and Adaptive EQ that automatically tunes and optimizes audio output.

This TWS is made sweat and water resistant so it can be worn during various activities. Interestingly, not only the earbuds, the case also has IPX4 certification.

AirPods also feature AAC-ELD, a superior speech codec that offers full HD sound quality, providing clear and natural communication for FaceTime calls.

Apple promises longer battery life, which is up to 6 hours. When with a case, users can listen to songs for up to 30 hours without stopping.

The case itself can be recharged wirelessly with MagSafe. A five-minute charge provides about an hour of battery life

AirPods can be ordered from now on in a number of countries, but will only go on sale starting next week. The price itself is USD 179 .

"AirPods forever redefine wireless headphones with innovative designs, great sound, and great experiences," said Greg Joswiak, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.

"We're excited to introduce the next generation of AirPods, which deliver unrivaled sound through Adaptive EQ and spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, along with seamless interaction between Apple devices - making the world's best-selling headphones even better."
