Banned from Twitter, Donald Trump Releases Truth Social

Longing for social media, former US President Donald Trump launched a Twitter competitor platform called Truth Social.

Trump, who is very fond of playing in cyberspace, had to swallow the bitter pill after being blocked by Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. The case is Trump after he openly supported the riots that occurred at the Capitol Building in January.

Quoted from Mashable, Saturday (10/23/2021) Truth Social is the first project created by Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG). The beta version of Truth Social is planned for release this November which then expands its coverage in the US in early 2022.

"I'm excited to be launching Truth Social soon," Trump said.

"TMTG was founded with a mission to give everyone a voice. I'm excited to immediately start sharing my thoughts on Truth Social and to fight the tech giants," Trump said.

Based on the Truth Social display shown by TMTG on the App Store, Trump's social media looks similar to his previous favorite platform, namely Twitter.

The initial stage, which can access Truth Social is only invited guests who have received pre-orders. Meanwhile, the Truth Social social media service is free and open, although it is forbidden for users to mock the site.

Not only in the world of social media, TMTG also apparently intends to target the video on demand service, which is mentioned as TMTG+. Along with this development, the company also made a public filing for the forthcoming brand Truth Social.

Currently, Donald Trump is trying to get back into existence and is allowed to play Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube again after violating the First Amendment rights of the US constitution after the Capitol Building riots.

This blonde man filed a lawsuit against the three technology companies as a result of blocking him from having accounts on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
