Because Apple Isn't Always Right

Apple is known to often take unusual steps in its products, including the 4th generation MacBook Pro which was released in October 2016.

Why is it unusual? In that generation MacBook Pro they removed all the features that are widely used and loved by users. For example, all existing ports were replaced with Thunderbolt 3, the SD card reader was removed, and the comfortable keyboard was replaced with a 'butterfly' keyboard.

In fact, this line of laptops is mostly used by professionals (according to the designation of the 'Pro series), and they need these features. For example, an SD card reader to transfer photos and videos from the camera without having to use an external card reader.

So is the HDMI port for connecting it to an external monitor without needing to find a special cable (USB-C to HDMI) or using a dongle (which is sold at a high price by Apple.

But it seems that Apple realized the error and then corrected it gradually. For example, the butterfly keyboard that was prone to damage was finally replaced with the Magic Keyboard.

Now Apple corrects their mistake of eliminating useful ports on the MacBook Pro by releasing the MacBook Pro 14 and 16 duo. The two MacBook Pro series marks the return of the SD card reader, HDMI port, and MagSafe charger port on Apple laptops.

Oh yes, Apple also no longer uses the Touch Bar in the laptop series.

The two new MacBook Pros are indeed thicker (MacBook Pro 16) and heavier. However, the port availability is complete. From HDMI, SD card reader, and three USB-C/Thunderbolt 4.

Not only that, the screen now uses a Mini LED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Then the innards are fast, not only because of the M1 Pro and M1 Max, but also the very fast storage chip, which is up to 7,400 MB/s.
