Candidates for WhatsApp's New Feature, Can Pause Voice Message Recordings

The messaging service WhatsApp is constantly improving its user experience to make it even better by adding new features. What's new is that users can later pause or pause voice recordings.

According to a report from WABetaInfo, this feature is being worked on by WhatsApp, which will allow users to pause voice messages while recording.

This feature is useful because it allows users to customize messages in a single voicemail without forcing the user to stop and record a new one.

In the demo video shown later there is a 'Pause' button in the sound recording panel which can be tapped and recorded. After that the user can continue again with the same button.

Testing this feature only involved a few WhatsApp beta users on iOS and Android. It is hoped that this feature will be rolled out more widely for all WhatsApp users officially.

Not only that, recently the XDA Developers site revealed that WhatsApp is also working on a new 'Community' feature or community that will coexist with the group feature.

XDA speculates that a community feature could possibly host multiple WhatsApp Groups within itself or vice versa, as well as being a dedicated Channel for admins to send messages.

Posts in them may be able to accommodate threaded responses, no different from the kind that Telegram allows in its channel posts. This feature is found in the latest WhatsApp Beta v 2.21.21.6.
