Windows 11 is already available to download for free. However, Microsoft has issued a warning if users are desperate to install the latest operating system on a PC that does not support it.
The Redmond tech giant says unsupported devices may experience more Blue Screens of Death than eligible devices. On the other hand, if the device supports it, Microsoft promises 99.8% free driver problems and blue screens.
Problems that arise after updating Windows 11 on an unsupported PC are not limited to the Blue Screen of Death. According to Microsoft, their proprietary applications such as Mail, Clock will crash 43% more than on a PC according to the configuration requirements. Similarly app crashes are 17% more likely to occur.
So if the device does not support Windows 11, there is no need to force it. Actually Windows 10 itself is a good operating system, faster, smoother, no less reliable.
You also don't need to rush to upgrade to the latest version unless you really want to experience the new Start menu, notification center, and other new looks.
It was previously reported that Windows 11 was officially available on October 5 yesterday. This update is provided free of charge to Windows 11 users who meet the following requirements:
