The US Air Force has been accused of covering up the existence of UFOs by a former staff member. This staff used to be in charge of photographing nuclear missiles.
Dr Robert Jacobs, thus the photographer's name, claimed he accidentally caught a 'dish-shaped plane' on camera. Jacobs believes he was part of a team that was asked to conceal this information from the public in the early 1960s.
Jacobs led a team that was asked to make a high-resolution film of a missile launch to help scientists understand why so many missiles exploded on the launch pad at that time.
In a discussion with retired Air Force Captain Robert Salas of the Paradigm Research group about alien interference in nuclear testing, Jacobs described what he managed to record on September 14, 1964.
Jacobs explained that his job was to use an ultra-high-resolution camera to record the US nuclear-capable missile as it crossed California at about 8,000 mph. To ensure it was undetected by Soviet defenses, the missile had a radar chaff dispenser.
But the next day, as quoted from Unilad, Jacobs admitted that he was summoned to the office by Major Florenze J Mansmann due to the recording. At first Jacobs did not understand why he was being questioned. After watching the tape, Jacobs immediately realized the problem.
According to Jacobs, in the footage, a saucer-shaped UFO firing beams at US missiles has been captured. Initially, Jacobs was accused of playing with his boss. But when they realized that even Jacobs knew nothing about the apparition, he was asked to interpret it.
Jacobs claims that after he expressed his opinion that the object looked like a UFO, he was told by Mansmann "never say that again" and "as far as you know, it never happened". Jacobs was sure that two CIA members were also present at the meeting.
Since speaking about the sighting, 17 years later, Jacobs says he's received threats and phone calls. But according to him, the recording is important even in the history of mankind, so he claimed not to regret revealing the secret.
In an interview with CNN, Jacobs described the object on the footage as shaped like two sausages held together with a golf ball on top and shooting a beam. Some experts assume it is a plasma beam that comes out of the warhead and comes from outer space.
"Tell me in 1964, who made the technology? Not us, not Russians, and anyone we know?" he asked.
The retired USAF lieutenant fully believed in the existence of UFOs because of the film footage he saw. Jacobs even angrily asked the reporters who interviewed him.
"I was there. I saw the film with my own eyes. Why would I lie? I'm a university professor with a PhD, and years of credible research. So don't call me a liar. You weren't there, but I exist," he said.
