Gmail Will Make It Easy To Send Email, So It's Not Wrong Address

Google will make it easier to send important emails. Of course, this is good news for users who often worry about sending the wrong email address because they are in a hurry.

The tech giant has announced that it will be making some changes to the Compose window in Gmail, which will make it easier for users to track who they're sending email to and give them a little more control over their emails.

For example, one of the changes that Google made came in the form of a visual indicator. As seen from the screenshot below, whenever the user enters someone's email address in the Compose window, it will display the person's avatar.

Thus the user can ensure that the email is sent to the right person. Apart from that, Google is also giving users more options to control which contact names appear in emails.

So, if you save the names of staff or colleagues with their roles in the company, but you want to look more professional, then you can assign a different name so that when other people receive it they will see a different name than the one saved.

Google notes this doesn't actually change a user's contact name, but rather what other people see when they receive an e-mail. Other changes also include external receiver highlighting.

So, if a user sends an e-mail to several people and some of them are not at your company, the email address will be highlighted in the Compose window for easier viewing.

This change is expected to begin rolling out to Google Workspace, G Suite Basic, and Business users early this November.
