Samsung first introduced its Smart Monitor device last December, this device is also targeted at increasing the need for smart displays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The South Korean tech giant has now announced that it has sold more than 600,000 monitors globally in about a year.

The Samsung Smart Monitor is a new concept monitor equipped with a smart hub based on Tizen OS, enabling users to enjoy various OTT (Over The Top) services such as Netflix, Samsung TV Plus, and YouTube as well as work and study without connecting a PC.

This Samsung monitor has received positive reviews on YouTube and other online platforms since its launch. And this is one of the factors that affect sales of smart monitors.

In addition, the adoption of work from home (WFH) and homeschooling is increasing the demand for Samsung smart monitors.

The Samsung Smart Monitor is available in two Smart Monitor models M7 and M5. The Smart Monitor M7 is available in 43-inch and 32-inch models with UHD resolution and black only.

On the other hand, the Smart Monitor M5 comes in 32-inch and 27-inch models with FHD resolution, available in black and white color options.
