NASA slams the world's richest people: Only care about yourself

NASA is flirting with the world's richest man, Jeff Bezos. The lawsuit, which the Amazon and Blue Origin owners have filed against NASA, threatens to delay an important human landing mission on the Moon. Not to mention the legal process can be long and also expensive.

As reported, Blue Origin sued NASA some time ago because it was considered unfair by choosing SpaceX as the maker of the Human Landing System (HLS). In this lawsuit, Blue Origin argued that NASA's proposal evaluation process was unlawful and inappropriate.

"Blue Origin filed a lawsuit in the US Court of Federal Claims in an attempt to correct deficiencies in the acquisition process in NASA's Human Landing System," a Blue Origin spokesperson said.

The mission to the Moon is slated to take place in 2024, but that schedule may now change until the legal process is complete. If the lawsuit is successful, NASA is likely to return to the time-consuming bidding process. NASA also called Blue Origin, of course under the command of Jeff Bezos, only selfish or selfish.

"All this once-in-a-generation momentum could not have been carried on by one party, in this case Blue Origin, which was looking for a way to prioritize its own gains over NASA, the United States, and everyone else alive today who dreams of seeing humans explore the world. beyond our Earth," NASA said.

In fact, according to NASA, the lawsuit will cancel the Artemis mission, which will land astronauts on the surface of the Moon again. In addition to NASA, Elon Musk as the owner of SpaceX has also repeatedly satirized Bezos and Blue Origin.

"He (Jeff Bezos) has to put in a lot more energy to get into orbit than to file a lawsuit," Musk said in an interview with Kara Swisher at the Code Conference, as quoted by Cnet, Monday (29/9).

"Lawsuits can't get you to the Moon, no matter how good a lawyer you are," he continued.
