After rumors surfaced recently, HMD Global officially released the Nokia T20. This tablet comes with a 2K resolution screen that will spoil the eyes but is priced at an affordable price.
The Nokia T20 features a 10.4-inch display with an LCD panel. The screen carries a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels, a ratio of 15: 9 and a screen brightness of 400 nits.
The tablet that is already running Android 11 is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T610 chipset with 12 nm fabrication. The chipset offers excellent efficiency and that is the main selling point of this new Nokia device.
With a battery capacity of 8,200 mAh, the Nokia T20 is promised to last up to 10 hours for watching and 15 hours for surfing the internet.
For charging using the USB Type C port. Because of this, this tablet supports 15W fast charging, only a 10W charger is provided in the purchase package.
Nokia T20 provides 3GB and 4GB RAM options. Likewise, the internal memory, 32GB and 64GB options are available, if not, there is a microSD card slot that supports up to 256GB.
This tablet carries a Nordic design, sandblasted aluminum body and is IP52 certified which makes it dust and splash resistant.
Nokia also provides stereo speakers, two microphones, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is a 5 MP camera on the front for video calls and an 8 MP camera on the back. The front camera is optimized for video calls and can perform face unlock.
HMD Global has prepared several accessories designed for this tablet. There is a case that can keep the body safe when it falls when used by children. There's also the Nokia Micro Earbuds Pro, which are designed to fit large ears and feature noise canceling when taking calls.
The Nokia T20 comes in Wi-Fi and 4G versions. Other connection features it has include Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0.
No less important Nokia promises the same support as the Nokia G-series. This means the Nokia T20 will get 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of monthly security patches.
