PS5 users will be able to share videos and screenshots

Sony has announced that it is testing a new way for users to share screenshots and videos on PlayStation 5 using the PlayStation app.

This feature is part of a limited beta release available to PS5 users in Japan or Canada.

Once the user activates this feature the new catch will start showing a 'p' in the app. On the Sony site page for the Q&A section, Sony mentions that video clips and screenshots of games are available on the PlayStation app for 14 days after users create them manually on the PS5 console.

Users don't need to have a PlayStation Plus membership to use this feature, at least not beta testing this early release.

It should be noted that clips featuring resolutions up to 1920x1080 will be available in the app, Sony mentions that clips in higher resolutions will not be uploaded. If a user deletes a video or screenshot from their PS5, they can access it in the app as a backup.

Meanwhile, as previously reported, the PS5 will also support the Apple Music music streaming service. Where a Reddit user shares the PS5's look is the Apple Music option that appears in the PS5's music menu.

This was spotted by a Reddit user who posted an image of Apple Music appearing in the login menu on the PS5. The option appears after they create a new account and try to link it with Spotify.

However the Apple Music app is not working, this Reddit user also shared a photo showing the message, "This app can only be played on PS4". According to Eurogamer the message is a standard error when the app is not available.

Eurogamer says it can also see the Apple Music option when creating a new Apple Music account, although it can't reproduce doing so. But the Apple Music Options didn't show up when he tried to create a new Apple Music account again.

The inconsistency of Apple Music's options suggests that Reddit users and Eurogamers may be the part of users who can find out something Sony and Apple are working on.
