The most popular online gaming forum, ResetEra, has been acquired by Swedish media company MOBA Network. Its value reaches USD 4.55 million .
The price will be paid in cash in two tranches, in which they have received USD 3.55 million . Then the remaining USD 1 million will be repaid on December 31, 2021.
"ResetEra.com has huge growth potential and we see significant opportunities to expand it, to continue to increase traffic," said Bjorn Mannerqvist, CEO of MOBA Network.
Manerqvist also said that this acquisition was another step in their strategy to create a more relevant community, with an attractive target group. Where is the other goal, to be exposed by many companies.

ResetEra itself, was founded in 2017 and has grown rapidly until now. A total of 55,000 members have joined, of which more than 45 million posts on the forum.
The topics of discussion on ResetEra.com are very broad, covering all types of games and platforms, from console, PC and mobile. These forums make money through advertising revenue and the subscription concept, which allows users to visit ad-free forums.
Annual income alone reaches USD 700 thousand . MOBA Network also believes that the numbers can be increased.
However, ResetEra owner Cerium was quick to remind members that the acquisition would not change the concept or culture that was created. He emphasized that this was only a business matter, so the background of the forum was maintained.
