Asus Vivobook 13 Slate, Compete with Surface Pro, Has a Cinema Sensation


Asus introduces a new detachable device that rivals the Microsoft Surface Pro. Named the Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED, it offers the sensation of a portable cinema at the furthest price.

The back is a stand that has a hinge that supports 170 degrees. In addition, Asus has prepared a keyboard case that can be attached using a magnet.


The Asus Vivobook 13 Slate OLED offers a 13.3-inch touch screen with Full HD resolution. It offers 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, maximum brightness of 550 nits, 0.2ms response time, VESA HDR True Black 500 certified display, and SGS eye protection, and 16:9 aspect ratio.



To maximize enjoyment of entertainment, this device is equipped with quad-speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Asus uses smart amplifiers to produce the maximum distortion-free volume possible. The company claims it works at a rate of up to 3.5 times louder than standard amplifiers.


The Vivobook 13 Slate OLED is powered by an Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor with speeds up to 3.3 GHz and Intel UHD graphics. It has SSD storage up to 256GB, and LPDDR4X RAM up to 8GB. There are connectivity options including dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSDcard slot, and Bluetooth 5.2.


There is a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. This 2-in-1 device supports the Asus Pen 2.0 stylus which has up to 4096-level pressure support.





Packed with a 50WHrs 3-cell Li-ion battery, this notebook comes bundled with a 65W adapter that will charge up pretty fast.


The Asus Vivobook 13 Slate will run Windows 11 and can run Android apps. This device only comes in Black color options, the Taiwanese company is selling the Vivobook 13 Slate starting at USD 599.99.
