The Pentagon was on alert and created a new division to investigate UFOs because many sightings of unidentified aircraft had occurred and were unexplained. What's more, not a few are in the military area so they are considered to have potential dangers.
In an investigative report last June, there were 143 sightings of planes that were suspected to be UFOs but whose origins could not be explained.
One of the latest is a triangular pyramid-shaped UFO object that flew over the United States warship last April. When asked for confirmation at the time, the Pentagon confirmed the footage was real.
Photos and videos of sightings of this unidentified flying object were leaked by documentary filmmakers Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp. One of them shows a night vision camera recording the object, which was captured by the crew of the USS Russell, which was operating in the Philippine sea. The mysterious object was in the sky, above the warship.
"I can confirm that the photos and videos were taken by Navy personnel," said Susan Gough, a Pentagon spokeswoman, quoted by Global News.
This is increasingly taken seriously because there is a shocking testimony from a former pilot who claims to have seen UFOs every day. This United States Navy lieutenant, Ryan Graves, used to serve as a fighter jet pilot.
Graves is the umpteenth former military personnel who has spoken out about the existence of UFOs or what the Pentagon calls UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon). He said with team members, often detect unidentified objects in the sky Virginia.
UFO sightings at the location where they were on duty took place almost every day for two years, starting from 2015. Because it was so frequent, the pilots and crew even considered it a normal thing.
"Actually I'm worried. If it was a tactical jet from another country that was up there, it would be a massive issue," he said recently, as quoted by us from CBS.
"But because the shape looks a little different, we don't want to observe it properly. We like to ignore the fact that they are up there, watching us every day," Graves added.
Some pilots speculated that the UFO could be a state secret technology. It could also be a spy ride or something else.
"It's really hard to explain. It looks like (the UFO) is rotating, flying high. Honestly, I don't know what it is. The highest possibility is some kind of threatening reconnaissance program," said Graves.
Previously, according to the former director of the United States National Intelligence Agency, John Ratcliffe, the government was still hiding many UFO sightings. "To be honest, there are many more (UFO) sightings than have been disclosed to the public. Some of them have already been revealed," he said.
"And when we talk about sightings, we're talking about objects that are seen by Navy or Air Force pilots, or captured by satellite imagery, engaged in actions that are difficult to explain, movements that are difficult to imitate and we don't have the technology," he said.
