There are two new features in WhatsApp, what are they?

WhatsApp has brought a new feature to its messaging service for billions of users around the world. The new features are 'Message-level Reporting' and 'Flash Calls'.

With Message-level Reporting, users can now report accounts to WhatsApp by flagging specific messages. This can be done by long pressing a message to report or block the user.

These new capabilities can save you a few clicks to block users. On the other hand, this feature may also be useful when dealing with spam messages, targeted harassment, unsolicited messages, or messages of an illegal or criminal nature.

In its latest transparency report, WhatsApp said that it deleted more than 2.2 million accounts in September alone.

Then another feature is Flash Call, which allows Android users who have installed or reinstalled WhatsApp on their devices to verify their phone number with automatic dialing instead of SMS.

WhatsApp claims that this is a much safer option, considering that everything is done from within the app.

WhatsApp has also recently released features that help improve user experience such as message disappearance, View once message, and a new feature being tested that allows users to hide the last seen status of certain people in the contact list.
