Twitter Makes it Easy to Find Tweets Directly from Profile

Twitter is constantly developing new features to improve the user experience. This time, Twitter presents a feature that makes it easy for users to search for tweets or tweets directly from their profile.

Social media consultant Matt Navarra first discovered this feature last month. But according to an XDA Developer report, this feature has already been rolled out for the Twitter app on iOS, as quoted from The Verge, Saturday (11/5/2021).

Twitter users on iOS can access this feature by opening any user's profile, then looking for the search button with a magnifying glass icon at the top right of the screen. Click the icon and then type in the tweet keywords you want to search for.

Actually the function of finding tweets from certain users is not a new feature on Twitter. Twitter users can now also search for tweets with the format "from:[Twitter username] [keyword] via the search field.

For example, if you want to search for articles shared by Twitter accounts about the iPhone 13, you can click the search icon in the Twitter app or web and then type: iPhone 13.

But this method is certainly more complicated and may not be known to all Twitter users. With this new feature, users can certainly search for tweets from an account more easily.

The search button is just one of many new features Twitter has added in recent months. Previously, this social media with the bird logo launched the Super Follow feature for iOS users, allowing anyone to host Space, showing previews of Instagram posts again, and much more.
