What Is Muskism, Elon Musk's New Capitalism

Name a number of ideologies that you know about, but maybe you haven't heard of 'Muscism' coined by a professor. Muskism or Muskism is called a new form of capitalism.

Jill Lepore Professor of History at Harvard University argues in 'Elon Musk: The Evening Rocket' which was released by the BBC in September and is an exclusive clip shared by Inverse. Lepore notes that Musk's backstory already makes him sound like a comic book character. How capitalism in the world today is greatly influenced by the actions of an Elon Musk.

Lepore thinks so because there are many surprising facts about what the name 'Elon Musk' can influence. For example, stock prices could be driven by it because of earnings and the 'fantasy' of science fiction that Elon Musk loves. Likewise with crypto money that can go up and down in price, just because of Elon Musk's comments.

Even on a broader scale, Musk's influence is clear. One of them is in an effort to build a self-sustaining million-strong city on Mars by 2050. This is part of a plan to turn humanity into a multi-planetary species.

Well, if you dig a little deeper, the roots of science fiction in SpaceX are actually there. The first rocket that will take humans to Mars, the Heart of Gold, for example. The ship is named after a ship found in the book 'Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy' by Douglas Adams.

This reference also occasionally appears with Tesla. High-performance Ludicrous and Plaid modes are names inspired by the 1980s sci-fi comedy 'Spaceballs'.

But apart from the term 'Muskism', Elon Musk only seems to see his great wealth as a tool to achieve the goals he wants. During his 2016 appearance at the International Astronautical Congress, he said he was building a fortune to get humans to Mars.

In March, he even wrote on Twitter, "I am raising resources to help create multiplanetary life and extend the light of consciousness to the stars."

Apart from that, he did not force anyone to go with him to fly to Mars, everything was done based on the will of those who are willing to adventure with the richest people in this world.

In the end, it all comes back to you. Is what Musk is doing a form of capitalism or is it just an ambition he wants to realize?
