A Row of New Android Features for the End of 2021

Google is rolling out a series of new features for Android, including new widgets for YouTube Music, Google Play Books, and Google Photos. What else?

This new feature set will be ready for the close of 2021, which also includes updates to Android Auto, Google Assistant, and Google Photos.

But the biggest feature addition is available for the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy S21 series. Where users of these phones can use these phones for certain BMW car keys.

According to Google, this feature is part of the 'car key' feature in Android 12 that was first showcased last May. Where BMW is one of the car manufacturers that supports the feature.

The feature itself will be compatible with all BMW car series from 2022 and 2022, and Google hopes to continue to expand the types of cars that are compatible with this feature in the future.

Still in the automotive sector, the Android Auto update prepared by Google includes providing a user -friendly interface when the Android phone is connected to the car. Includes a new play button on the homescreen to turn on music with one touch.

Then there is also a new search icon to find songs, as well as a smart reply option to reply to SMS.

For YouTube Music, users can now control songs through widgets and also access previously played songs. For Play Books, the widget can be used for quick access to the book library, while in Photos, the widget can be set to display photos of specific people or pets.

The Memories feature in Google Photos will also begin displaying curated photos and videos at events such as New Year's Eve and the like in a standard photo grid view.

Regarding user privacy, Google is now providing a permission-reset feature for older Android phones. With this user feature, permissions for applications that have not been used for a long time will be automatically turned off.

Previously, this feature was available for Android 11 and above devices, but in the future it will be available for Android 6 and above devices, which is next January.
