3 Ways to Hide Photos and Files on HP

Sometimes some things can't be shared with others, including photos or other files. As a result, many people are looking for ways to hide photos on their mobile phones from other people, such as children or other 'kepo' people who suddenly open the gallery.

Summarized from Pop Science, here are three ways you can do to hide photos on your cell phone from people

1. Apple Photos and Google Photos

In Apple Photos there is already a feature that is used to hide the photo, touch the 'Share button' then select Hide.

However, if someone wants to peek, they can still find these files by tapping 'Albums' and 'Hidden', so they're not locked forever. To show a photo or video, find it in the 'Hidden' album, then tap 'Share' and 'Unhide.'

Google Photos for Android and iOS also has an archive feature that you can use to hide photos and videos in a number of applications. This feature makes the photo invisible in the main photo which is a screen that people usually open back and forth when they want to know the contents of someone's mobile phone.

From the 'Photos' tab, open a photo or video, tap the Menu button (three dots, top right) and then 'Move to archive or Delete from device.' To hide a group of photos and videos at once, long press on the first photo until it is checked, then tap the other item you want to archive. Next, tap the Menu button and select 'Move to archive'.

2. File lock application

If you really want to seriously lock photos, videos, and other files from other people, install one of the many special file lock applications. Once the file is placed, you will need a special password or PIN code to access it.

For Samsung users, Samsung already has a built -in locker application, namely 'Secure Folder'. From 'Settings', select 'Lock screen and security', then proceed to 'Secure Folder' to create a secure folder. In this way, they can protect the file with a pattern, PIN code, password, or biometric data (such as fingerprints).

Keepsafe for Android and iOS can also be used to hide photos. There will be simple PIN controls to keep your private photos and videos safe. You can use this application for free but it is sometimes interrupted by ads.

3. Folder Lock for Android

Another recommended option is Folder Lock for Android, which is very versatile. You can lock files with a PIN, pattern, password, or fingerprint, move files from within or outside the application, and create special folders within existing folders to organize all your personal files.
