LINE Corporation announced the launch of LINE NEXT Corporation, a company dedicated to developing and expanding the global NFT business.
LINE NEXT consists of two companies, with Korea-based LINE NEXT Corporation focused on strategy and planning for the global NFT platform, and LINE NEXT Inc. based in the US working to develop and operate a non-fungible token (NFT) platform business.
Based on LINE's blockchain and NFT business, LINE NEXT Inc. plans to introduce a new global NFT platform based on LINE's extensive experience and knowledge in developing global services and blockchain technology products.
This new global NFT platform will support companies and creators around the world as they build marketplaces and create communities and ecosystems for common users to trade NFT.

Since establishing the LINE Blockchain Lab, LINE has issued LINK crypto assets and operates the LINE BITMAX crypto asset exchange in Japan and BITFRONT globally.
In addition, LINE operates a blockchain service development platform, the LINE Blockchain Developers Platform, and a beta version of the NFT marketplace on the LINE BITMAX Wallet in Japan. More than 1.3 million NFTs based on the LINE blockchain have been issued, through various blockchain partners in areas such as IP, content and gaming.
