Towards the end of the year, Apple Music released a list of the best streaming songs of 2021 globally.
One of them, there is the category of the most played song list in 2021 which was achieved by BTS, a boy band from South Korea with the title song 'Dynamite.
The list of the top 10 most played Apple Music songs is Dynamite (BTS), SIM (Olivia Rodrigo), For The Night (Pop Smoke), Blinding Lights (The Weeknd), Peaches (Justin Bieber), good 4 u (Olivia Rodrigo) , STAY (The Kid LAROI), Dakiti (Jhay Cortez & Bad Bunny), and Levitating (Dua Lipa).
Then, for the song lyrics category with the most reads, singer and songwriter Olivia Rodrigo got the title 'Drivers License'.
Apple also shares the top 100 charts for all types of songs, most read lyrics, songs for exercise, and most of the music searched through Shazam (Shazamed).
Shazam itself is an application owned by Apple. The app can identify music, movies, commercials, and television shows, based on short samples played using the device's microphone.
Previously, Apple Music also announced the Artist of the Year award. And just this year Apple also published the Top 100 Fitness, which separates music for exercise enjoyed on the Apple Music platform and Apple Fitness+, Apple's online workout video subscription service.
