Xiaomi is preparing the Xiaomi 12 series which will reportedly be released later this month. Ahead of its launch, the standard version of the Xiaomi 12 design render was revealed.
This rendering was shared by tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer aka OnLeaks with Zoutons. They uploaded some 360 photos and videos showing the Xiaomi 12 from various angles.
This render shows the back of the Xiaomi 12 will be filled by a camera module containing three rear cameras and an LED flash. This camera module will reportedly have a special coating, but this rumor is still unconfirmed.
While on the front there is a curved screen on the left and right with a punch hole at the top of the screen to place the front camera. The screen size of the Xiaomi 12 itself is said to be smaller than the Xiaomi 12, which is 6.2 inches, with a resolution of 1080p +.
In a leak, OnLeaks and Zoutons say the Xiaomi 12 will have dimensions of 152.7 x 70.0 x 8.6 mm (or 11.5 mm with the camera module). The size is shorter and slightly thicker when compared to its predecessor, as quoted from Android Authority, Friday (17/12/2021).
Meanwhile on the right side of the phone there are volume and power buttons. At the bottom is USB-C, the main microphone and speakers.
The Xiaomi 12 has passed certification and is known to carry a 4,500 mAh battery with 67W fast charging. But Zoutons says the phone will have a 5,000mAh battery and 100W fast charging. Most likely the battery will be used by the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
Talking about the Xiaomi 12 Pro, it is likely that the cellphone will have the same design as the Xiaomi 12. The difference is, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is predicted to have a front camera under the screen.
Not much else is known about the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro. But what is certain is that these two phones will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
The Xiaomi 12 series is rumored to be launching in China at the end of this month. This line will consist of three models, namely Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
