A number of iPhone 13 users complain of experiencing a "pink screen"

Some iPhone 13 users have complained about a "pink screen". Allegedly, their device screen suddenly turned pink because of a software malfunction.

Shortly after the release of the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro lines in late 2021, a small number of users of these devices reported that they were annoyed that their iPhone was locked and showing a pink screen.

On the Apple Support forums, there are many examples of this phenomenon. The general symptom is the pink screen display and the iPhone is stuck unable to function normally. There is no specific indication as to what caused this. But it seems this damage can still be repaired.

Quoted from Apple Insider, some users said they did a reset of iPhone settings to get rid of this problem, while others said they contacted Apple and swapped their handset for a replacement unit.

According to a report from MyDrivers about Chinese users experiencing this issue, it appears that Apple is aware of the issue. A customer service representative has reportedly informed consumers that his team has not received the "relevant notification" that it is a hardware problem, but rather that it is a system (software) problem.

That claim is quite reasonable. Some photos and screenshots of the pink iPhone 13 screen show icons such as the signal indicator and battery in white as usual. If the issue is hardware caused, it's likely that the indicator will be affected as well.

Users experiencing this problem are advised to back up their data, then reset it by factory reset or updating iOS to the latest version. If the problem persists, perhaps an iPhone 13 device repair is required.
