Apple Appreciates Cheap Android Phones, Here's the Proof

Apple seems to be increasingly appreciating cheap Android phones, even though it's a flagship class. This is indicated to have occurred in the United States, particularly in the trade-in program held by the Cupertino-based company.

In Uncle Sam's country, smartphone exchange systems are rife, including at the Apple Store. At the Apple store, not only iPhones, used Android phones can be exchanged and priced according to their condition.

Well apparently lately, Apple has lowered the maximum price that can be obtained from a used Android phone. Call it the Galaxy S21, Galaxy Note, to Google Pixel.

For example, the trade-in value for the Galaxy S21 dropped from USD 325 to only USD 260. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S21 Plus dropped from USD 535 to USD 325. In comparison, other companies such as Gazelle value the Galaxy S21 to USD 401 and USD 429 for the Galaxy S21. Plus.

Meanwhile, as quoted from Tom's Guide, the trade-in program at Best Buy costs the Galaxy S21 for USD 350 and the Galaxy S21 Plus is priced at USD 450.

Turning to the Apple Store, to trade in a used iPhone, the value is still quite large. Even the iPhone 11 can be priced up to USD 300 which means it is more expensive than a used Galaxy S21.

Some of the comments were milling about. One of them stated that it was fortunate that Apple was willing to accept used Android phones. Others say that the selling price of a used iPhone is bigger.

"Apple never offered anything for Android phones. Only in recent years. They used to tell you that Android phones will be recycled for free," wrote an online comment.
